With the support of Cisco Systems, Inc. on behalf of the Partnership for Lebanon, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and our institutional partners in Lebanon have developed a set of on-line tools and information, hands-on services and activities that will assist your business to:

- Find and qualify potential trade and investment partners meeting your specifications
- Interact with potential partners and form long-term relationships

Business Partnering
The goal of this program is to help American and Lebanese firms establish real business linkages through strategic alliances and business partnerships. Through the business opportunities presented in this portal, we aim to provide busines greater access to the Lebanese market through real trade and investment opportunities.
At the U.S. Chamber, we define business partnerships as:
- Transfer of/sale of technology between U.S. and Lebanese firms
- Sales of goods and/or services between Lebanese and U.S. firms
- Sourcing of production, R&D or services from a U.S. firm to a Lebanese partner
- Any joint venture or enterprise engaged in by U.S. and Lebanese firms
This proram, through its Internet-based partnering system, will enable U.S. Chamber of Commerce members and Lebanese industry to create on-line business and partnership profiles. Lebanese firms and U.S. Chamber of Commerce members can participate by accesing an on-line directory of its members, searchable by industry and/or company name. Individual firms will be offered a "booth" in a virtual trade directory, that will be available to all U.S. Chamber of Commerce members interested in business opportunities in Lebanon
Business Partnering Components
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is a core collaborator with the Partnership for Lebanon and the lead implementor of the Partnership's Private Sector Business Matching Initiative. This effort has four key pillars that we are committed to executing:
- Increasing long-term business relationships between Lebanese companies and U.S. Chamber of Commerce members
- Strengthening capabilities and capacity of Lebanese businesses to expand internationally and access credible U.S. partners through targeted Technical Assistance and Training
- Improving the quality of Lebanese firm-level information through an on-line partnering portal and outreach efforts to U.S. Chamber members
- Expanding U.S. business interaction and facilitating viable business partnerships between U.S. Chamber members and Lebanese firms.
